Organic and sustainable gardens and landscapes

sanctuary project, peru
Following a working holiday to Peru in the summer of 2007, the opportunity has arisen to get involved with building a sanctuary garden on the deepest canyon in the world

The first project in this five year scheme is the organic, walled vegetable garden to provide fruit, flowers and vegetables for the house.

sustainable housing project
The Fresh Life project is a sustainable live/work housing scheme that aims to provide high quality, low energy housing in a rural location. A combination of private and communal gardens with areas for home grown, organic fruit and vegetables will offer residents a unique lifestyle experience.

eco house in cornwall
This beautiful eco house was craned into Trevone, near Padstow earlier this year and represents the first carbon positive of its type in the UK. It is also the show home for Baufritz UK, the German company behind the design and build.

pot kiln
I recently presented ‘Heaven’s Garden’ a ten part series on building and planting an organic vegetable garden.
The show was part of three series on a pub in Berkshire called 'The Pot Kiln' where TV chef Mike Robinson has bought his local pub with the intention of serving local rustic food, the first series called 'Heaven's Kitchen' was on UKTV food.

digging for victory
The second TV series for UKTVgardens.
This new series is to find the best allotment in the UK. Co-presenter Chris Collins (Blue Peter Gardener) and I travel around judging the top nine sites in the country to find the best allotment and meet the characters who garden on them.
